 शब्दों का ऐसा समूह जिसका पूर्णता एक अर्थ हो वाक्य कहलाता है.

A Group Of Words Which Has Complete Meaning Called Sentence.

Nature Of Sentences

There Are Four Types Of Nature In Sentences.

1. Declarative Sentence
2. Interrogative Sentence
3. Imperative Sentence
4. Exclamatory Sentence

What Is Declarative Sentence?

A Sentence That Tells Something.

• Example: I am teaching you.

What Is Interrogative Sentence?

A Sentence That Asks Something.

• Example: Do You Love Me?

What Is Imperative Sentence?

A Sentence That Tells Someone To Do Something.

• Example: Do It Now.

What Is Exclamatory Sentence?

A Sentence That Shows Strong Feeling.

• Example: What an Idea!.

Types / Kinds Of Sentences

There are three types of sentences.

1. Simple Sentence
2. Compound Sentence
3. Complex Sentence

What Is Simple Sentence?

Simple Sentence Have Only One Independent Clause.

Example:

• The Dogs Barks.
• The Boys Went To The Market.
• Ram Is Running.

What Is Compound Sentence?

Two Independent Clauses Separated By Semicolon (;) Or A Comma (,) And Conjunction.

Structure Of Compound Sentence

Sentence,

For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So,

Sentence

Example:

I have a car or you also have a car.	✔
Ram and Shyam are playing.	❌

What Is Complex Sentence?

A type of sentence that contains an Independent Clause and one dependent clause.

Independent Clause + dependent clause का Combination

Example:

• This is the boy who comes late.
• If it rains I will get wet.

पहचानने के नियम (Sentence Trick)

• Simple Sentence = Single Sentence
• Compound Sentence = Sentence, + For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So, + Sentence
• Complex Sentence = (For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So) इन को छोड़कर अलग Words

Common Subordinating Conjunction

After	If	Until
Although	Once	Unless
Because	Rather Than	When
Before	Since	Whenever
Even If	Untill	While
